My level of being put together depends on the day and my mood. I usually always take a shower and do my hair when I’m home, but I may be hanging out in my pajamas if there are no plans of me going anywhere during the day. Like today for example

During the summer when I’m not working I usually do get dressed and wear at least a little makeup (usually foundation and powder) because, like you said, you just never know what’s going to happen.

Wow! I am a slob, I admit. I never have enough time in the day it seems. I am impressed that you are able to keep up. A shower is almost a luxury these days, it seems.

Oh I’ve spent many a day where I didn’t shower or put on makeup. I’m pretty sure I’d be a slob if I didn’t have a job, which is why I plan to always work. However, I could NEVER leave the house like that. Even if I’m just running to the store for milk I have to be dressed and have my make up on.

I did the same thing when I wasn’t working. On Saturdays and Sundays I might not wear make up when I know that we’re going to be working on the boat or on the house. But I only wear eye shadow, mascara and lipstick anyway. And I could always throw on a little lipstick if need be.

For me it’s a bigger deal to not wear my watch. I’ve been trying, lately, not to wear my watch on the weekends. But then I am constantly asking him “What time is it? What time is it? What time is it?”

Having pride in ones appearance is a very good quality to have. I commend you for sticking to your guns on this issue and I agree with you.

except at my house I have 31 YR OLD kid AND A 13 yrs old.kid, I stay at home too..
Boy I love them boys…they go play football and I do girl stuff like watch tv. We all have things to be proud of and we are more that being just mothers…I have missed you!!1

I admit that I am a slob. I’m a jeans and t-shirt girl that doesn’t like makeup or curling irons. Adam’s known me since I was 14 so he doesn’t think twice about it. He does get shocked when I do dress up but that just gets me more attention.LOL
