This morning the family and I all headed out to the park so Mister and I could go walk/run the track while the kids played next to us on the playground. I got up early, took the dog out, fed her, had a cup of coffee and we went out for a bit after getting dressed.
Later this afternoon I was STILL full from the Mexican brunch I had this morning so when Mister went to work, today, I got dressed again and took the kids back to the track for more walking.
This evening I was cleaning out some shoes from my closet (because they’re ALL on the floor and its overwhelming now) when I came across my white Sketchers and white leather converse. I tore my closet up looking for the pair and found nothing. Great, I’m thinking, the dog dragged them out and now I’ve got to go hunt for it.
Then it hit me. Nah I said. I went to the dinning room to grab my tennis shoes I kicked off when we got back from the park for the second time today and sure enough I had on one Sketcher and one Converse. Twice today. Niiice.
Now I sit here and wonder just how many people at the park noticed my shoes and of course didn’t say anything. I’m wondering just how man people went home and told their spouse about the retard lady on the track. Even worse, I wonder how many people have blogged about me and my two different shoes!
And I swear to you, I wasn’t hungover when I got dressed, I didn’t even drink Saturday night!

LOL! That’s hilarious.
I see people who are wearing socks that don’t match all the time. I don’t know why I notice it, but I always do. I would have noticed the mismatched shoes.

Jay, I would’ve noticed the mismatched shoes, too. Except for when I’m putting them on I guess!
Sue, I’m related to ManWELL. He did the same thing a few Halloween’s ago.
Angie, that’s just wrong of everyone to not tell you. Wrong.
Karen, I have a pair just like this one if you need to borrow them. lol
Craze, you’re right, that’s something you’d do too, huh.
Carrie, it was Sunday & I just wanted a different look. LMAO

That is great!!! If my shoes weren’t organized in pairs I would totally do that too. It reminds me of the day I wore a navy sock and a brown sock instead of two black ones.

Himself had a very big promotion interview in London at the end of June, himself is very nervous about this and is an extremely stressy, anxious type even while relaxed. So his train is delayed, his tube station closed and then he looks down and like your good self is wearing odd shoes. He had to go and buy some new ones, he aged about 20 years that day !

Slick, that time, no, they weren’t inside out. But they have been before so that’s nothing new.
Heidi, guess who’s on the hunt for a shoe organizer now? lol
Barb, when I went to the track last night I checked & luckily the length of my jog pants showed me I doubt anyone was able to “really” notice. That’s my story & I’m sticking to it. lol
Auntie G, poor Himself that’s too funny. But that’d be a womans excuse to go shoe shopping! lol
