Do you remember this post from two weeks ago?   Where the school district says send my kids to school sick?  Well we just got out of the meeting with the rep from the L.A.D.A.’s office and let me tell you I am HOT today!

First of all that little rep bitch was VERY unprofessional and spoke in an extremely judgemental way.  IMO she was targeting/talking down to the parents that are descendants of Mexico.  She kept giving “examples” and always referred back to Those of you who have family in Mexico…  WTF kind of shit is that?  So because we don’t have family in Mexico and speak English does this shit not pertain to us?  She “told a story” of a single mother of four boys, working two jobs and going to school to better herself and their family while her boys were running amok.  Got the meaning behind the story but what was the purpose of the D.A. Bitch commenting on the mom’s “long fake nails, expensive purse, cell phone, diamonds and stripes in her hair”.  WTF does THAT have to do with ANY child’s attendance?  Un-fucken-professional ass bitch!

So this woman goes on to say that from this point on our kids have been enrolled into the CA program called ACT (Abolish Chronic Truancy).  From this point on, we were informed, we no longer have the liberty to excuse our own children from school.  I shit you not.  We were told there are ONLY four valid reasons, recognized by the state of CA, why our children will be excused from school, and each one has to have documentation to back it up (um no one EVER said this to us before, nice communication):

1- Religious holiday.  And we have to get a document w/the church’s info stating Yes it is a religious holiday, we’re members of the church and we’re not allowed to send the kids to school on that day.  

2-  If the CHILD has been subpoenaed to appear in court.  And then they need documentation of the days they were required to be there.

3- Funeral.  1 day excused in CA or 3 days out of CA. Again, documentation is needed and those little funeral cards are not proof. 

4-  Sick note from a doctor. 

Last year when my grandma died, I called the school and informed them my girls would be out for the funeral and was informed that they were to bring in the funeral card to be excused.  Why the fuck was I told that if that isn’t even accepted?  Come to find out, after school is over, they never were excused for my grandma’s funeral!  They want documentation from where services were held verifying the service!  Can you believe that shit!  I’m so glad I didn’t know that then because I would’ve went off on the school clerk.

And as for a doctors note?  Um, we DID turn in a note for when The Snitch had pneumonia and apparently the woman who reported us to the DA’s office failed to file it properly  and there’s no record of it!  Sure, said DA Bitch, you could get the note again and they’ll change it in the file, same thing with your grandma’s funeral info, but its not going to change the computer’s reporting or the fact that you’re now enrolled in this program,  so why don’t we just move forward, huh.

Are you fucken kidding me?  And the DA bitch said this to our faces with a fuken smile like we’re some sort of moron’s.

We were told, today, If you kids are “sick” take them to the doctor, bring the note in, have the clerk sign, date and photo copy it for you.  We will no longer be accepting notes from you.

Fuck off.

Also we were told If you don’t want your child in school that day because they’re sick, bring them to the office, let the nurse check them out and excuse them for the day.  Or send them and we will call you to come get them once they’re sent to the office.  I shit you not she told us this.  Then when Mister commented on me working in Orange County, 30 minutes away, and him the opposite direction and its not ideal for us to leave work when we KNEW they were sick to begin with, DA Bitch said That is why you fill out emergency cards!  Back up plans, people, PLAN B! 

I wanted to sock her many times in 45 minutes.

So  from this point on we have two choices when it comes to our children’s health and education:  #1- Send them to school sick and go in late while I wait for the school to call me.  #2- Take them to the doctor’s and buy a doctor’s notefor $20 co payment have them excused for a fucken head cold.   Fucken L.A. County school district Nazi whore! 

On the way out I told Mister Well there goes camping!  The Friday before Memorial weekend is the only planned day we keep the kids out of school and now we’ve got to drive up after 2pm or pay a co payment.  Hmm, I think I’ll instruct The Snitch At your first recess tell your teacher you don’t feel good and want to go to the office.  And I’ll tell Drama Queen to do the same thing at lunch time! LMAO 

So, Peeps, Send Your Kids To School Sick 2008-2009 has officially started!  Start ordering masks, gloves, hand sanitizers and bubbles for your children!
