What do you think?
For a little over a week I’ve been getting calls on my cell phone, at all hours of the day and night, but no one is there. There’s no noise, no breathing, no background noise and the caller ID says Private on my phone screen.
When I got the first call it was two Saturday’s ago and I thought it was coming from my parent’s house because they’ve got caller ID blocked on their phone and it always says Private. So after a few calls to my cell with no one there I call my parents house to find out if it was them because they were expected at our house for dinner. My Grandma answers and says it wasn’t them and that my mom wasn’t even home. Hmmm…
A few days later it started at 6am. Then again at 11pm. Then off and on during this past week. And even last night. One of the nights I got the call I answered it and just sat there listening, for almost two minutes, and there was nothing there but the call remained connected.
This morning my sister calls me asking if I’ve heard from our Grandma (who lives with my parents. And my parents are out of town this weekend so she’s alone). I said Not since yesterday why? She proceeds to tell me she got four calls to her cell phone, just now, and they were from Private. Thinking its our Grandma she calls my parents house and the phone is busy or off the hook. Now she’s worried about Grandma and asked me to go check on her, since we live a couple of blocks from them.
Come to find out Grandma is on the phone and my parents don’t have call waiting so that’s why we got a busy signal.
When I began receiving the calls I first thought it was Mister’s ex-wife and she had some how got my cell number. But knowing her the way I do she is not one to call and just remain quiet. No, that bitch likes to talk shit so I know its not her. And now I really know its not her now that my sister has began getting the same calls.
Mister thinks its our grandma, who recently passed, trying to communicate with us. I know that sounds absurd, but, as he said, stranger things have happened. The last time I lost relatives strange things began happening to us at home, too. So I don’t know what to believe. Now that he mentioned it being my Grandma I’m not so bothered or creeped out by the calls. Its hard to explain, but I think because I truly believe in ghosts I may even be a little…comforted by the thought. I don’t know What do you think?

I would seriously change my number. That way if it is a phsycho, you’ve done what you can to stop it.
That other world shit scares the hell out of me. SO after changing my number, if I kept getting the calls, I think I’d throw away that phone.

I think it is your grandmother. As Samhain/Halloween approches the veil between the worlds thins. From now until early Nov. is the best time for communication with our love ones who have passed away..
Either that or it is a stalker..Get the number changed LOL

Like I said, at first the crazy ex came to mind, but I’ve had this number for years, he hasn’t been to their house in months so I know, in my heart, its not her. Especially when my sister said she’s been getting the same calls.
Last night she was over our house and oddly neither of our cells rang with the Private number. I was sort of expecting/waiting to see if at some time durning her visit if both of our phones would ring Private at the same time. Wouldn’t that have been a trip?

If it were only you getting the calls, I’d say you had a freak on your hands. Since it’s happening to your sister too…I don’t know!

i had never thought that spirits might want to use cell phones… wouldn’t appearing in our tv sets just be easier? especially since we hate mystery calls on our phones in the first place.
