Ahhh, its FINALLY beginning to feel like summer in beautiful ol’ California! I’m talking about 80+ degrees a day. We’re sleeping with our ceiling fans on at night. I’ve got doors and windows open until 10 or 11pm almost each night. Its wonderful!
The girls’ will be out of school next week and that means I don’t have to get up as early nor do I have to hassle with getting Drama Queen to bed and listen to her ass whine in the morning because she’s tired!
With summer comes trips and activities! Woohoo! This weekend we’re heading into Vegas for my cousin’s wedding. In 15 days I’m going to Idaho. Then my birthday is soon after. Following that will be Drama Queen’s birthday. Then camping again. And of course, we’ve got the Labor Day weekend! Lots to do!

My kids got out of school about a month ago! And it’s definitely summertime in Texas…we’re already in the mid 90’s so no open doors or windows for us anymore!
We will be venturing down to south Texas for a wedding next month and will stop in San Antonio for a day at Sea World. Then at the beginning of August the kids and I will be spending 1 1/2 weeks in Virginia with my family…can’t wait!!!

Unfortunately, no. With my boss being on sick leave and him having really no desire to go to a medical center with, oh, I don’t know, EDUCATED doctors that know what the hell they are doing, my summer is pretty much freaking shot.
Figures. I’ve got the boys this summer and I can’t really take time off to do much with them.
This is what sucks about working in such a small office. It’s just the two of us here and when one is gone, the other really can’t be.
Oh, and my usual fill-in person…yeah, she’s going to her granddaughter’s this week and will be gone most of July. Ugh.

Yesterday was the first real hot day here. It was 85 with a heat index of 97.
Sounds like you have a lot planned. Mind isn’t going to Idaho? And Sara is having surgery? I had tons planned but now that is all gone. I’ve got to start cleaning out our office and finding a new place for our work out room.
