I LOVE reading. I usually read about 2-4 books a month. In one year I read 13,526 pages. That was 39 books.
I’ve got a 5 shelf book case that I clean out regularly. I’ve got things like all of the Harry Potter books. I’ve read them all and when Drama Queen is old enough to read them and understand the words, they’re hers. I’ve got a few fluff books. I’ve got mystery and thrillers. I’ve got books that have been made into movies. I’ve got cook books and one autobiography, Danny Bonaduce . Of all people huh?
Right now I’ve got a $25 B&N gift card sitting in my wallet, thanks to 3M, that I’m itching to spend. Any suggestions? What are you reading right now? How often do you start a new book?

It sounds like you’re all over the place with what you like. I’m doing a book a month through book club.
My latest read was Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. FABULOUS.

I couldn’t suggest a book to save my life. The books I normally buy are travel books, classic novels, cookbooks and political books. Yeah I am sad. I don’t even know who popular authors are. The most I have are classic novels that I like to read over and over again. That reminds me, I need to pack some books.

Aimee, I am all over the place with books. I use to only read thrillers but got bored and predictable after awhile. Its nice to have a silly girl book every now & then.
Msl, that sounds interesting, I’m gonna check it out.
Carrie, I haven’t read the same book twice in YEARS. I think its b/c I’m always buying new books.

You left me a comment on my blog, so thought I’d say thanks and let you know I dropped by.
Right now I’m reading Morrigan’s Cross by Nora Roberts. I haven’t devoted much time to reading lately cause I’ve been busy with work and school will be starting soon. My goal is to finish it this weekend. Wish me luck.

The "Mind"
Right now I’m trying to read Maneater, but I’m having a difficult time really getting into it.
I’m toying with the idea of skipping right to Sex and the Single Witch or Memoirs of a Geisha (but I know you’ve read that).
I just brought a couple Jodi Picoult books up to mom. I lurved Second Glance.

Mind, I LOVED Memiors of a Geisha. That was one of my favorite reads. And then seeing the movie? Very glad I read it first.

I’m always reading one book or another. Hmmm Right now I’m reading “A man called Blessed” action adventure sequel to “A blessed Child”
Man . . . I also loved the series Dune. Yup, all of them. And then to swing the other way . . I like the classics too.
If you loved Memiors of a Geisha you should enjoy “Geisha, A Life
By Mineko Iwasaki” I know I did.
It’s non-fiction,
