Today is the day the kids’ have been waiting for. I woke them up with a loud HAPPY HALLOWEEN at 6am. This is one of the rare days that my little one didn’t get pissed off and pull the covers over her head! What are the plans? I’m working until 1:00 today, then I’m off to run a few errands and then go home to get the girls ready. Once they’re ready to go I have to drive back to my job to pick up my mom at 5:00 and from there we’ll head over to a friends house for a bbq and some Trick or Treating.
Today my 8 year old Drama Queen will be dressed up as a queen. What else would she be. Then my 4 year old Snitch will be decked out as a black cat. So I’ve got hair to style, make up to apply and body’s to dress. Not to mention hopefully being able to find their buckets from last year and convincing them that it just might be cold later in the evening and they should take a sweater. (Bet you 5 Miller Lite bottle caps by the time we get in the car at least one kid will have cried!) Mister is missing his 3rd Halloween in a row. Have I ever told you how much I HATE his job?
Hope you all have a fun and safe evening. I’ll be sure to post Halloween pictures tomorrow.

Well you saw my kids all dressed up. hehe.
I was just telling my boss earlier how my mom always ruined Halloween because she made us wear coats over our costumes. Jeez!
I’m sorry that your man has to miss Halloween. But just think, I work with mine. Could you imagine being around him everyday and all day?

Funny you should ask that, Carrie, Mister use to be my boss maaaaany years ago. Yeah, I was ‘that’ girl who got involved with the boss, but hey, look at us now.
Oh and I remember working with him, while pregnant, OMG I couldn’t STAND his ass! I could never do it again now. Nope. Nuh-huh. Props to you!

Oooohhhh! So now I know. You were one of them.
I’m lucky. I am over Adam. One day I was snapping at him in front of a customer and they were shocked. I later had to tell the customer that he was my BF.

Do you know how bad I want to flip off your “you might need a sweater” line?
Per usual, I was on the porch wearing Pman’s Carhartt coat, a scarf and mittens with an afghan wrapped around my legs, and drinking a beer (hoping the alcohol kicked in and warmed me up…no such luck).
One of these years I am going to make myself an ice cube costume out of plexiglass for amusement.

Mind, I tried texting you last night but texted your house # instead (de-de-de!). I was letting you know we were walking around the blocks w/beers in our hand like we were in Vegas! LOL

Craze
Halloween sure changes as the get older. I told Jacob last night when he was young he used to run across the lawns from house to house dropping his bucket all the time and losing candy.
Glad you all had a good time!
